BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY
June 24, 2013
A SPECIAL and TELEPHONIC MEETING of the Board of Public Safety was held in the Mayor's Office on Monday, June 24, 2013.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham and Commissioner Angelo LaMonica. Commissioners Douglas Benedetto, Darlene Battle, Christopher Cook and Police Chief Michael Maniago participated via telephone.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 8:37 a.m.
HIRE PROBATIONARY PATROLMAN: M. Richards
Chief Maniago read Mr. Richards' qualifications aloud. Commissioner Cook asked if the Police Personnel Subcommittee approved of him and Chief Maniago said that yes, a recommendation to hire was given.
On a motion by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner LaMonica, the Board voted unanimously to hire Mathew Richards as probationary patrolman effective July 1st.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner LaMonica, the Board voted
unanimously to adjourn at 8:45 a.m.
